Dr. Vivian Tse
Dr. Vivian Tse, ND is a compassionate Naturopathic Doctor who is excited to join Chiropractic Wellness and Rehabilitation. She graduated with a Doctor of Naturopathy from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and Bachelor of Science (Hons) with first class honours from McGill University.
She grew up in a health-conscious household in which healthy eating and exercise were heavily emphasized. With health being emphasized so much growing up, she was always drawn to a career in healthcare. During university, she went through depression from which she suddenly lost 10 pounds despite all the lab results coming back as normal. This experience made her realize the importance of mental health in addition to physical health and how they affect each other. Dr. Tse started looking at careers that address health in a holistic manner while still emphasizing the importance of healthy habits in disease prevention – this is how she landed at naturopathic medicine.
Dr. Tse, ND highly believes in the importance of addressing the mind-body connection when helping others to heal from their disease. Combining the latest research and traditional medicinal knowledge, she utilizes a variety of naturopathic modalities such as acupuncture, dietary modification, lifestyle counselling, supplements, and herbal medicine to help patients achieve their health goals.
She has over 10 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. In addition to being a naturopathic intern, she has worked as a medical office assistant, hospital volunteer, supplement associate, and Tai Chi assistant coach.
Dr. Tse, ND is licensed with the College of Ontario of Naturopaths (CONO). In addition, she is also a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

Dr. Kristopher Edwards DC
Dr. Edward’s love of athletics and education led him to McMaster University to pursue a degree in Kinesiology and a collegiate career as a football player. Early in his second season as a McMaster Marauder a misdiagnosed injury that required surgery ended any opportunity to play competitive CIS Collegiate Football.
A surgical consult, months too late, revealed that traditional surgical methods would be of little help. Through plenty of research and hard work Dr. Edwards was able to successfully rehabilitate his own ankle to a fully functional state.
Although he was always drawn to Health Care, this incident was motivation to pursue a career that could not only provide treatment, pain relief and rehabilitation of injuries
but also offered prevention and education as a primary focus. For Dr. Edwards, Chiropractic was the perfect fit.
Upon successfully completing an Honours Kinesiology Degree at McMaster University, Dr. Edwards was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Edwards would spend the next four years studying, researching, and developing the skills required to be an ethical health care provider with a multidisciplinary focus.
Dr. Edwards enjoys treating patients with headaches, neck, back and extremity aches and pains. He also works with the WSIB to provide care for employees that have suffered work place injuries and along side auto insurers to return those suffering from car accidents back to pre injury status. There is also an emphasis on overall health and wellness and Dr. Edwards enjoys spending the time working towards reaching these goals with each and every one of his patients.
Dr. Edwards’ background in athletics has lead to a special interest in managing sports injuries and returning athletes safely and quickly back to play. He has treated various professional athletes through his clinical internship and in private practice. The needs of these athletes have ranged from specific sports injuries to prevention and performance optimization. Through Dr. Edwards’ university football experience he weighed in at 155 pounds. In order to compete at that weight- at the collegiate level- optimal training, diet, mental preparation, and discipline were needed. These attitudes and experiences are an asset, both on the field competing and in a clinical setting, rehabilitating his patient’s athletic injuries. Dr. Edwards has likely experienced first hand or seen as both a practitioner and an athlete the injury that you are suffering from. These experiences and a complete understanding of the athletic mindset allow for the motivation and support needed to allow you to recover and return to the sport you love.
Although Football took over, Dr. Edwards’ first love was hockey. Like all young Canadian hockey players he dreamed of playing goal for Team Canada. Although not on ice, the dream to represent our country on an international stage came true. Dr. Edwards was a member of the Canadian National In-line Hockey team and won the 1997 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Overall Dr. Edwards enjoys all sports on both recreational and competitive levels.
In his spare time, Dr. Edwards enjoys coaching various amateur football teams in the Durham region. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Dr. Patricia Riley and their three young boys: Lucas, Braedan, and Jayce. Together they enjoy family, friends, exercise, athletics, and of course Chiropractic.

Rashad La Touche
(He/Him/His)
RMT
Rashad La Touche is a practicing registered massage therapist (RMT) at Chiropractic Wellness & Rehabilitation, since 2016; he has strong roots in the community. Rashad attended Donald A. Wilson SS in Whitby. While playing football there he was able to earn a scholarship to Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. There is where he first experienced the benefits of an RMT.
Rashad played 5 seasons for the Laurier Golden Hawks. During that time he suffered a variety of injuries, ranging from a strained right hip flexor to a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL). He received treatments from a variety of health care professionals, including physiotherapists (PT), athletic therapists (AT), and registered massage therapist (RMT).
His first experience with a RMT is one that sticks with him to this day. When he hurt his hip, his team AT suggested that he see a RMT for a deep tissue massage. He went into the hour treatment session, with preconceived ideas of what going to happen and came out with a new respect for the profession. The RMT’s knowledge of his injury, his ability to assess and give Rashad exercises to improve not only his injury but also overall function was something Rashad greatly appreciated.
After completing his fifth and final season with football, he graduated from Laurier with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology. Next he enrolled at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in Toronto, to train to become a Registered Massage Therapist.
Being an RMT allows Rashad to work with athletes treating and managing injuries that they may experience both in season and during the offseason. It has allowed him to work with the working and aging population, helping to increase relaxation, and treat daily neck, shoulder, back and pain in extremities they may experience.
Rashad hopes to create the same positive experience with his clients that he received back in University. Ready to start his career, Rashad is excited to bring his past athletic experiences, his knowledge, enthusiasm, and love for helping people to our clinic.
